Job Summary
The position involves executing advanced imaging techniques, specifically Computed Tomography (CT) and X-rays, with a strong emphasis on maintaining patient safety and adhering to radiation protection standards. The role also encompasses supporting laboratory operations, which include gathering specimens and conducting a variety of both manual and automated tests.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex imaging procedures using Computed Tomography and X-ray technologies.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in patient safety and radiation protection.
- Assist in laboratory tasks, including but not limited to, specimen collection.
- Conduct various laboratory tests, both manual and automated.
Qualifications
- Valid TMB Radiology Technologist License.
- ARRT-CT Certification.
- BLS-Provider Certification.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
- Previous experience in Computed Tomography is required.
