Job Summary
The role involves the administration of ionizing radiation specifically for diagnostic measures, alongside executing a comprehensive range of radiographic and fluoroscopic tasks. A crucial aspect of this position is to prioritize patient safety by utilizing ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles while meticulously documenting all clinical information and procedures conducted.
Responsibilities
- Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging.
- Perform a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by applying ALARA principles.
- Maintain precise documentation of clinical data and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited institution in medical radiography.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills in English.
