Job description
Job Summary
The R&D Lab Technician plays a crucial role in supporting research and development activities within the laboratory. This position involves a variety of technical tasks that are essential for advancing product formulations and testing methodologies. The technician will assist in experiments, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols to uphold high standards of quality in the lab.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and record data accurately.
- Collaborate with scientists to develop and optimize formulations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working in the lab.
- Prepare samples and assist in analysis as required.
- Document results and assist in the preparation of reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety practices and equipment.
