Job description
The Receiving Team Leader is responsible for managing the effective functioning of the receiving department, which encompasses overseeing freight movement, maintaining inventory accuracy, and addressing damaged merchandise. This role includes supervising team members and serving as the Manager on Duty to guarantee seamless store operations. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a medium to large retail setting. Physical endurance is necessary to lift weights of up to 50 pounds, and candidates must be available for shifts during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
