Job Summary
The Registered Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in delivering preventive dental services to children within school environments. This position focuses on ensuring optimal oral health through cleanings, sealants, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive dental services such as cleanings and sealants for students.
- Document all provided services and patient interactions accurately.
- Educate children on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures as needed.
- Travel to different school locations to deliver dental care services.
- Handle and set up dental equipment, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
- Current certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and in school settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
