Job Summary
The registered nurse plays a crucial role in managing patient care within the Emergency Department. This position involves overseeing nursing activities, ensuring effective cardiac monitoring, and maintaining hemodynamic stability for patients in critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
- Conduct purposeful rounding on an hourly basis to assess patient needs.
- Triage patients effectively based on the Emergency Severity Index.
- Monitor cardiac conditions and support hemodynamic stabilization.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Must possess a valid Nursing License in the State of Michigan.
- Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, Basic Arrhythmia, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI.
