Job Summary
This role is focused on delivering exceptional specialized care to adult patients within a 27-bed cardiovascular and cardiothoracic intensive care unit. The position involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to oversee the management of intricate cardiac surgical procedures, transplants, and the use of advanced medical equipment such as ECMO.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to adult patients in the cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.
- Manage and provide support for complex cardiac surgeries and transplants.
- Utilize and monitor advanced medical devices, including ECMO.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or a compact state.
- BLS certification required upon commencement of employment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of six months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program is necessary.
