Job Summary
The Residential Coordinator for the ID Waiver program plays a crucial role in overseeing and facilitating services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position involves coordinating care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective management and support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and implementation of individual service plans.
- Oversee daily operations of residential services, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and service providers.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident needs and progress.
- Facilitate training and development programs for staff involved in client care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policies related to ID Waiver services.
Qualifications
- Experience in human services or a related field, particularly with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations concerning residential services for individuals with ID.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
