Job Summary
This position focuses on delivering and managing nursing care for patients who have undergone cardiac and vascular surgeries, utilizing the nursing process effectively. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members to design and execute comprehensive patient care plans while ensuring precise documentation in medical records.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide nursing care for post-surgical cardiac and vascular patients.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for all patients.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Iowa.
- A minimum of twelve months of acute care RN experience or participation in an RN Residency program.
