Job description
Job Summary
The RN Day Shift position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients during daytime hours. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring that patient needs are met efficiently and compassionately.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the day shift.
- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapies.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state.
- Previous nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other healthcare technologies.
