The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in assessing, planning, executing, and appraising nursing care for patients in an emergency inpatient context. They are expected to exhibit clinical proficiency in administering care to adult patients in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center. Applicants must possess a valid Wisconsin or NLC Registered Nurse license and have successfully completed an accredited nursing education program. Essential certifications include BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
