Job Summary
The position of Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) involves providing immediate and expert care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires commitment to working every other weekend and every other holiday, with a need for at least two years of experience in emergency nursing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess patient conditions quickly and effectively to determine appropriate treatment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current in emergency care practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend and holiday.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
