Job Summary
The Registered Nurse First Assistant plays a crucial role in the surgical environment, working closely with the surgical team to deliver hands-on patient care throughout operations. This role involves executing tasks in accordance with established protocols to guarantee optimal results during surgical procedures under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team by providing direct patient care during operations.
- Perform duties in alignment with standardized procedures to promote safe surgical practices.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical staff to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid California Registered Nurse License.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Completion of coursework in first assisting, as well as vein and artery harvesting.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an operating room setting is essential.
