Job Summary
The RN ICU Vascular Access PRN position focuses on providing expert vascular access services in the intensive care unit. The role requires a specialized nurse who demonstrates clinical proficiency in vascular access procedures to enhance patient care in critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Perform vascular access procedures with precision and adherence to best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the ICU team to assess and manage patients’ vascular needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sterile techniques during all procedures.
- Educate nursing staff on vascular access protocols and techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to vascular access practices.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in the state.
- Previous experience in ICU or critical care settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in vascular access procedures.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
