Job Summary
The role involves delivering person-centered nursing care while ensuring the safety, comfort, and independence of residents. The position also requires educating both residents and their families and overseeing the nursing unit during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care tailored to individual resident needs.
- Prioritize the safety and comfort of residents while promoting their independence.
- Educate residents and family members regarding care procedures and health concerns.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care effectively.
- Administer medications in accordance with the established scope of practice.
- Assist with the management of nursing unit operations during night shifts.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Indiana.
- Current BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
- Preferred experience in nursing within a senior living environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
