Job description
The Triage Nurse plays a crucial role in overseeing patient care requirements via both incoming and outgoing phone communications, which encompass clinical evaluation and patient education. Responsibilities also include handling insurance pre-authorizations, making referrals, and ensuring that exam rooms are prepared for use. Applicants are required to have a valid RN license from Illinois and a CPR certification from the American Heart Association. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and prior experience in a clinical office setting are highly regarded.
