Job Summary
The Sales Director for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) is a pivotal leadership role that focuses on driving sales strategies and fostering relationships within the OEM sector. The individual in this position will spearhead the development and execution of sales initiatives that align with the company’s vision, while enhancing market penetration and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase OEM market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key OEM clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance product offerings geared towards OEM customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and key performance indicators to executive management.
- Identify and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales management within the OEM industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
- Deep understanding of the OEM market dynamics and customer needs.
- Competence in analyzing complex sales data to drive decisions.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and conduct presentations.
