Job Summary
This role involves the creation of precise, comprehensive, and on-time proposals for equipment related to power generation, which encompasses generator sets, switchgear, fuel systems, and weatherproof enclosures. The selected candidate will work closely with the outside sales team and technical support staff to effectively address customer challenges and secure new business through competitive proposals.
Responsibilities
- Draft detailed and technically sound proposals for power generation equipment.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to address customer needs.
- Engage in problem-solving to secure new business opportunities.
- Ensure proposals are submitted in a timely manner to meet client expectations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in sales and/or project management, ideally within power generation or marine sectors; relevant experience in similar fields is also acceptable.
- A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills.
- Effective organizational and collaborative abilities, with a focus on customer service.
- Willingness to travel and maintain a solid driving record.
