Job Summary
The Sanitation Technician plays a crucial role in upholding cleanliness and hygiene within the manufacturing environment. This position entails ensuring that all areas, including restrooms, lunchrooms, and production zones, are maintained to high sanitation standards. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is essential, and tasks must be executed in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintain sanitation protocols across various areas of the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure cleanliness in restrooms, lunchrooms, and production sections.
- Perform sanitation tasks while complying with all relevant safety regulations and GMPs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English is necessary.
- Prior experience in sanitation is preferred.
- Ability to physically stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
