Job Summary
The SCADA Support Specialist will act as the expert in control systems used within wastewater treatment facilities, focusing on the oversight, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of both hardware and software components. This position requires collaboration with various teams and vendors to maintain the reliability and security of telemetry equipment and operational technology infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for control systems in wastewater treatment facilities.
- Oversee the maintenance and configuration of SCADA systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ensure the reliability and security of telemetry equipment and OT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of four years of pertinent experience, or eight years of equivalent professional experience.
- Proven expertise in SCADA systems, network security, and industrial control hardware.
