Job description
The Senior Accountant will deliver high-level accounting expertise for health plan operations, emphasizing precise financial reporting and month-end closing procedures. Key tasks entail creating journal entries, performing account reconciliations, overseeing statutory reporting, and working alongside cross-departmental teams to address any financial inconsistencies. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a comparable discipline. Familiarity with GAAP, statutory accounting, and advanced Excel capabilities are mandatory, with a preference for individuals who have experience in the healthcare sector and hold a CPA certification.
