Job Summary
The technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upkeep of the physical infrastructure within the data center, which encompasses servers and network components. This role involves coordinating construction activities related to facilities, overseeing project teams, and executing preventative maintenance on essential hardware components.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure physical data center infrastructure, including servers and networking elements.
- Oversee and coordinate facility construction projects and related activities.
- Manage project teams effectively to ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on critical hardware to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in hardware troubleshooting and networking is required.
- Preferred experience of at least 6 years in maintenance of server systems.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
