Job Summary
We are in search of a Senior Marketing Specialist to enhance the marketing and business development efforts for a niche business group within our professional services organization. This role is crucial in the marketing landscape, working closely with attorneys, business developers, communications teams, and various internal stakeholders to deliver impactful client-oriented marketing programs and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, client communications, and both print and digital collateral.
- Assist in tailoring materials for current and prospective clients, including proposals and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with marketing management and internal teams on business development initiatives and specialized projects.
- Conduct research to support marketing campaigns and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide marketing support for client programs and industry initiatives.
- Help implement long-term marketing and business development strategies.
- Ensure all materials are accurate and align with brand guidelines.
- Oversee planning and execution of various events, including networking gatherings and conferences.
- Manage logistics for events, including budget, venues, and technology coordination.
- Support ongoing education initiatives related to professional events and handle event-related communications.
- Assist in the preparation of submissions for professional accolades and rankings.
- Gather necessary materials and research sponsorship and engagement opportunities.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new attorneys with communications and updates.
- Establish strong working relationships across departments and handle inquiries promptly.
- Maintain project oversight to ensure quality and timeliness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in marketing, business development, or professional services.
- Previous experience in a law firm or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and events as required.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when necessary.
- Familiarity with CRM and other marketing technologies is beneficial.
- Understanding of AP Style and business writing norms.
