Job Summary
The Senior Network Administrator will play a crucial role in providing support to the Air Force, focusing on the management and maintenance of computer systems and advanced IT infrastructure. The position requires a strong background in network administration and a commitment to maintaining compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee the configuration, operation, and maintenance of network systems.
- Provide support and guidance to Computer Systems Administrators and Tier IV IT systems.
- Ensure the integrity and security of the network infrastructure, including routers and switches.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical challenges and enhance system performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve network systems.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Proven experience in network administration and working with complex IT systems.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
