Job Summary
The IT Director will oversee the technological direction and IT strategies of the organization, ensuring the effective implementation and management of IT systems and infrastructure. This role is pivotal in fostering a secure, efficient, and scalable IT environment that supports the business objectives and facilitates innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT strategy that aligns with the overall business goals.
- Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective operations while maximizing returns on technology investments.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT management or a related role, with proven leadership abilities.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
