Job description
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing intricate payroll operations in both the U.S. and Canada, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and union guidelines. This role includes leading various payroll initiatives, balancing accounts, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance system efficiency. Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of experience in handling multi-state payrolls, union work, and prevailing wage concerns. Expertise in Workday and advanced proficiency in Excel are mandatory, while a bachelor’s degree and CPP certification are preferred.
