Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to oversee the complete delivery process of optical communication terminal projects. This role involves managing client interactions, timelines, and critical production milestones while ensuring effective collaboration between various teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain. The primary aim is to guarantee optimal technical performance and successful on-orbit testing of the terminal systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive delivery of optical communication terminal programs from start to finish.
- Maintain and foster customer relationships to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Manage schedules and ensure production milestones are met in accordance with project timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and supply chain units to achieve desired technical outcomes.
- Oversee the successful on-orbit verification and performance of terminal systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with hardware programs in space, aerospace, or photonics.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver intricate hardware projects from prototype stages to full production.
- Must possess U.S. Person status to comply with ITAR regulations.
