Job Summary
The Senior Propulsion Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design of solid rocket motor structures and essential propulsion components, guiding them through fast-paced iteration cycles. This role involves active engagement in the assembly, testing, and diagnostic processes of prototypes to achieve production targets effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design initiatives for solid rocket motor structures and propulsion components.
- Manage rapid iteration cycles to refine and improve designs.
- Participate in the assembly and testing phases of prototypes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the prototyping process.
- Ensure that production objectives are met in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline or physics.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design or fabrication.
- Proficient in CAD software.
- Familiarity with aerospace materials and propulsion systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
