Job Summary
The Senior Structural Engineer plays a critical role in the engineering team, focusing on the design and analysis of structures. This position is based in Midland, Michigan, and involves working onsite. The engineer will engage in various projects across different regions, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, MEP, civil, and automation engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design, utilizing advanced software and engineering principles.
- Prepare reports, specifications, and technical documentation to support project requirements.
- Review and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
- Interact with clients and stakeholders, presenting design concepts and addressing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Extensive experience in structural design and analysis, preferably in a diverse range of projects.
- Proficient in structural engineering design software and tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with various disciplines.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
