Job description
**Senior Transmission Planning Engineer**
The Senior Transmission Planning Engineer is responsible for conducting transmission planning studies and power system analyses to facilitate the development of generation, transmission, and energy storage projects. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external consultants to oversee interconnection processes and deliver technical due diligence for energy infrastructure initiatives. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline, along with experience in power system studies. Additionally, candidates are expected to be proficient in using industry-standard planning software and have an understanding of transmission markets such as ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, or MISO.
