The Senior Accountant will oversee payroll tax registrations, compliance, and filings across multiple states, addressing any historical tax concerns and discrepancies that arise. This role also entails acting as the main liaison with state agencies and creating centralized documentation to support ongoing tax and business obligations. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience in multi-state payroll, state tax compliance, and general ledger reconciliations. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential, along with the ability to research intricate tax regulations independently and effectively resolve any overdue filings and account discrepancies.
