**Senior Development Officer**
The Senior Development Officer is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of major-gift donors, focusing on identifying, cultivating, and soliciting contributions that support the organization’s mission. This role involves working closely with leadership to create and implement donor engagement strategies, maintain precise forecasts, and ensure the effective stewardship of donor relationships. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of securing substantial gifts. Essential skills include strong interpersonal abilities, organizational expertise, and project management capabilities, as well as a solid understanding of donor relationship management systems.
