Senior Finance Analyst
Location: Lisle, IL (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $43-$47/hour
Overview of the Senior Finance Analyst Role:
The Senior Finance Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing key finance and accounting processes through detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. This position collaborates with business leaders to deliver strategic financial insights, ensures the accuracy of financial records, and identifies avenues for process enhancement and control improvements.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Analyst:
- Conduct a range of finance and accounting tasks to bolster business functions.
- Execute financial analyses and create comprehensive financial models.
- Develop financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze financial reports and tax returns to extract meaningful insights.
- Establish and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Guarantee the implementation of appropriate fiscal controls to protect company assets.
- Oversee accounting and financial records, including the general ledger and financial statements.
- Prepare and present regulatory, management, and financial reports.
- Spot and pursue opportunities for process enhancements and assist in strategic financial projects.
Qualifications for the Senior Finance Analyst:
- Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, capable of interpreting complex business data.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and general business practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to diverse audiences.
