**Senior Life Underwriting Specialist**
The Senior Life Underwriting Specialist is responsible for the analysis, selection, and classification of intricate life insurance applications, ensuring compliance with established mortality and morbidity standards. This role also involves acting as a resource for junior staff and working closely with field partners to provide exceptional service and effective risk management. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of five years of experience in life underwriting, along with a robust understanding of financial underwriting and medical risk evaluation. Preferred credentials include a relevant undergraduate degree and professional designations such as ALMI or LOMA certifications.
