Job Summary
The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) plays a critical role in ensuring software quality by designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies. This position involves collaboration with development teams to establish testing requirements and enhance the overall application performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for new and existing software products.
- Design test plans, test cases, and test scripts for comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with software engineers to identify testing needs and integrate automated testing into the development process.
- Analyze, evaluate, and report on software quality metrics to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SDET or similar role in software testing and automation.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
