Job Summary
This position is focused on conducting bridge load ratings, carrying out structural analysis, and executing bridge inspections in compliance with federal regulations. The role supports comprehensive structural assessments, formulates repair suggestions, and collaborates with project teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct bridge load ratings following federal guidelines.
- Perform structural analysis to assess the integrity of bridge frameworks.
- Carry out thorough bridge inspections to identify potential issues.
- Support detailed structural evaluations and develop corresponding repair recommendations.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams and communicate with clients regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering is required.
- Candidates must have successfully completed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Experience in bridge load rating or inspections is preferred.
- Willingness to engage in physical fieldwork and travel as needed.
