Job Summary
The role involves conducting thorough diagnostic assessments and triaging patients, as well as administering evidence-based trauma therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). The position includes managing clinical risks, facilitating therapeutic skills groups, coordinating patient care and referrals, and ensuring the maintenance of comprehensive clinical records. Additionally, contributions to the growth of the clinical team and enhancements in operational practices are expected.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and triage patients as needed.
- Implement evidence-informed trauma treatment modalities including CPT and EMDR.
- Oversee clinical risk management processes.
- Lead skills development group sessions for patients.
- Coordinate patient care and handle referrals effectively.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Engage in activities that support clinical team expansion and operational advancements.
Qualifications
- Applicant must possess an active independent clinical license in one or more of the specified states.
- Willingness to acquire cross-licensure in up to ten states is essential.
- PhD or PsyD with a minimum of five years of post-graduate clinical experience is preferred, or a master’s-level clinician with an independent license and a robust clinical background.
- EMDRIA certification is mandatory for candidates.
