Job description
**Job Title: Operator**
The operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe functioning and upkeep of steam boilers along with auxiliary machinery at a biomass power facility. Key responsibilities include monitoring plant records, conducting equipment inspections, and supporting maintenance activities as instructed by the supervisor. Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification and either currently possess or be willing to acquire a Massachusetts 2nd Class Fireman’s License. This position necessitates physical endurance to undertake strenuous tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
