Job Summary
The role focuses on providing specialized care and treatment within the domains of Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT), Colorectal, and Urology for patients undergoing step-down or oncology care. This position is vital for ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and continuous care as they transition from acute treatment environments to more rehabilitative settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to patients recovering from oncology treatments related to ENT, Colorectal, and Urology.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions to facilitate effective treatment planning.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and adherence to care protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ongoing treatment and recovery processes.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner to maintain comprehensive health records.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in nursing, medicine, or a related healthcare field.
- Licensure or certification in the applicable specialty areas, including Oncology.
- Experience in a step-down unit or similar acute-care environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
