Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
The Sterile Processing Technician is tasked with collecting, reprocessing, and delivering sterile supplies to different departments within the hospital. This role involves the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and case carts. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with the capability to achieve professional certification within 18 months of employment. Prior experience in healthcare or being enrolled in an appropriate program is advantageous, with a preference for candidates having at least six months of healthcare experience.
