Job Summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician with a focus on OR Instrument specialization. This position is crucial in managing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies according to AAMI standards, as well as overseeing inventory control and sterilization processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.
  • Adhere to AAMI standards for sterilization and infection control.
  • Maintain and manage inventory levels for surgical supplies.
  • Conduct testing and verification of sterilizers to ensure effective operation.
  • Assist in the turnover of operating room (OR) facilities when required.
  • Monitor and guarantee accurate sterilization of instruments and tools.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sterile processing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of AAMI standards and sterilization techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
