Job Summary
The Structural Engineer 1 (PE) is responsible for supporting the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects. This role demands a foundation in engineering principles as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality results that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in structural design and analysis tasks under the direction of senior engineers.
- Prepare written reports and technical documentation for project deliverables.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate designs and solutions.
- Perform calculations to validate the structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, providing input on structural engineering issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Fundamental knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
- PE license or ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
- Proficient in structural analysis software and engineering tools.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
