Job description
The Structural Engineer will oversee the evaluation, endorsement, and certification of structural designs, guaranteeing adherence to building regulations and engineering standards. In addition to these responsibilities, this role includes acting as a technical authority, providing mentorship to junior employees, and supporting research and development initiatives for new market opportunities. Applicants must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design, particularly in wood-frame construction. Expertise in AutoCAD and various structural design software, as well as a solid understanding of IRC, IBC, and other pertinent engineering codes, is essential.
