Job Summary
The Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) role in Boise, Idaho is crucial for the development and execution of structural engineering projects. This position demands a high level of expertise and innovation, ensuring that all structural designs comply with regulations and meet project requirements effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural components in civil engineering projects, focusing on trusses.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout the engineering process.
- Collaborate with other team members throughout the project lifecycle, starting from the hiring process to project completion.
- Oversee and mentor less experienced engineers, providing guidance and support in technical matters.
- Prepare reports and documentation to present findings and design proposals to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proven experience in structural design and engineering practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
