Job Summary

The Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and functionality of structures. Located in Earth, Texas, this full-time position demands both technical expertise and practical application within the field of structural engineering. The engineer will be responsible for various aspects of design and analysis, contributing to the overall success of projects by applying their skills in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and analysis of truss systems and other structural components.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to meet specific engineering requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in structural engineering.
  • Oversee the execution of structural assessments and provide solutions to design challenges.
  • Contribute to the hiring process and training of new engineering employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Relevant experience in structural engineering, particularly involving trusses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication abilities to facilitate teamwork and project management.
