Job Summary
The Supervisor of Capital Payments is responsible for leading a team tasked with the precise handling of capital payment requests in line with established procurement guidelines. This role involves collaboration with different internal departments to address and rectify payment-related concerns while supervising the implementation of financial management systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team ensuring accurate processing of capital payment requests.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve any payment issues that arise.
- Oversee the application and effective use of financial management systems.
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 24 semester credits in accounting or possess a valid New York State CPA license.
- Must be a permanent employee in the Accountant title or reachable on the open-competitive exam list.
