The Public Safety Supervisor is responsible for the management of daily operations related to public safety, which includes overseeing security staff, assessing security systems, and ensuring the well-being of patients, employees, and visitors alike. Key responsibilities also include performing risk evaluations, guiding incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to healthcare security standards. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a minimum of six months of supervisory experience in a healthcare or security environment. Holding a professional certification like the Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) is advantageous.
