Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing facilities by guaranteeing the necessary materials are available to satisfy production needs. This position entails collaborating with both internal teams and external suppliers to tackle supply chain issues, streamline processes, and implement strategies that boost operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Analyst:
- Engage with manufacturing sites to address material supply challenges, ensuring production targets are met.
- Coordinate with internal divisions and outside suppliers to meet production demands and reduce supply chain interruptions.
- Spot opportunities to enhance supply chain processes and apply solutions to prevent recurring challenges.
- Collaborate with production facilities to identify and implement cost-reduction strategies related to freight, logistics, and operations.
- Examine data to assess key performance indicators, evaluate supply chain efficiency, and suggest practical enhancements.
- Support multidisciplinary teams by offering insights and recommendations that optimize supply chain practices.
Qualifications for the Supply Chain Analyst:
- Strong analytical capabilities with the aptitude to analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Preferred experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related areas.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills for effective interaction with both internal and external partners.
- Proven track record in identifying and pursuing cost-saving opportunities.
- Familiarity with supply chain software and tools is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
