Job Summary

An exciting opportunity awaits for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Greater Cleveland area. This role will oversee the entire recruitment process for staff roles across the firm’s various offices and will also assist in legal recruiting initiatives, led by the Talent Acquisition Manager. The Specialist will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR personnel, and executive leadership to identify, evaluate, and secure talented individuals who resonate with the firm’s values and strategic goals. Additionally, this position is vital in enhancing employer branding, nurturing talent pipelines, implementing data-driven recruiting methods, and pursuing continuous improvement to boost overall recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle for both exempt and non-exempt staff positions across all offices.
  • Create and publish job postings on various platforms, including job boards, LinkedIn, and internal channels, tailored to specific roles.
  • Source candidates through networks, LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and professional associations.
  • Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews with candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and collect feedback from interview teams.
  • Prepare and suggest employment offer terms, assisting in the offer presentation.
  • Facilitate pre-employment activities, including background checks and new hire arrangements.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and external sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the applicant tracking system and monitor recruiting metrics.
  • Provide administrative assistance for attorney recruitment activities.
  • Support logistics for the summer associate and internship programs.
  • Ensure a positive and consistent experience for all candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience in professional services, legal, financial, or corporate recruitment.
  • Background in recruiting legal support staff, administrative, or business professionals.
  • Familiarity with recruiting across various departments or locations.
  • Proven skill in conducting competency-based and behavioral interviews along with candidate evaluation.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements in recruiting processes.
