Supply Chain Data Analyst

The **Supply Chain Data Analyst** will be integral to a strategic project aimed at optimizing and standardizing the Instrument Asset Tracking Tool across various locations. This position is essential for enhancing data accuracy, removing redundancies, and facilitating the development of sustainable processes for ongoing management of instrument files.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Data Analyst:

  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain teams to assess, clean, and standardize instrument data within both the Instrument Asset Tracking Tool and the Service Parts Management (SPM) system
  • Detect and eliminate duplicate instrument records from multiple data sources
  • Standardize critical data fields such as Manufacturer Part Number, Manufacturer, Internal Instrument ID, Instrument Description, Supplier, and Unit Price
  • Cross-verify various Excel datasets to resolve discrepancies and maintain consistency across systems
  • Revise SPM records with updated and standardized information (experience with SPM is not necessary; training will be provided)
  • Develop and document procedures for the centralized management of the instrument master file, including intake procedures, data validation, and record creation and approval processes
  • Assist the Finance team with quarterly instrument reconciliations (“true-up”)
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures across different locations

Qualifications for the Supply Chain Data Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related area
  • Experience handling large datasets, particularly in supply chain, logistics, or healthcare sectors
  • Proficient in Excel, including skills in data cleanup, cross-referencing, lookups, filtering, and creating pivot tables
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to spot inconsistencies and enforce data standardization
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities
  • Capacity to quickly learn new systems and data entry processes (SPM training will be offered)
  • A background in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, or data analysis is preferred
  • Experience with data normalization, master data management, or asset tracking systems is advantageous
