Job Summary
The Supply & Distribution Technician plays a crucial role in managing the inventory and distribution of supplies within a hospital setting. This position involves utilizing logistics management software to ensure efficient supply operations. The technician also serves as a key resource for employees facing supply-related queries and participates in emergency situations, such as Code Blue calls, which may require CPR assistance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of hospital supplies.
- Oversee the distribution and logistics of supplies throughout the facility.
- Utilize computer systems for effective logistics management.
- Act as a support resource for staff regarding supply chain issues.
- Assist in emergency response situations, participating in Code Blue calls as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in computer operations is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
